Infrastructure Engineer II & Trusted Advisor (Onsite)

About the role

Data Defined, LLC is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer II who will also act as a Trusted Advisor for its clients. This full‑time, on‑site position in Brunswick, Maine involves supporting, implementing, and optimizing technology solutions while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced Level 2/3 support for servers, cloud, network, and security issues and serve as an escalation point for junior staff.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, storage, virtualization, firewalls, wireless, and VPN technologies.
• Participate in migrations, upgrades, deployments and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Coach junior engineers and contribute to internal training initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of IT experience, preferably 2+ years in a managed‑services environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting multiple client environments.
