Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the role

This position directly impacts equipment uptime by troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment used to produce umbilicals for subsea oil and gas operations. You will work on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems, ensuring reliable performance of production assets.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and replace faulty components such as relays, switches, motors, gearboxes, cylinders, circuit boards, bearings, programmable controllers, and VFDs.
• Plan and install wiring and conduit for electrical circuits ranging from 24 VAC to 480 VAC.
• Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics, complex drawings, and OEM manuals.
• Assemble, disassemble, and test tools and assemblies for onshore and offshore applications.
• Document maintenance activities in computer‑based work orders and share daily updates with the team.

Required profile

• Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card) and pass background, drug, and hair‑follicle tests.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; 1‑2 years manufacturing experience desired.
• Electrician/Journeyman license and basic knowledge of 480 VAC power systems, Siemens AC/DC VFDs, and PLC principles are advantageous.
