Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the role

Industrial Maintenance Technicians at Anheuser‑Busch work alongside production teams in a high‑speed brewing plant to improve equipment reliability and ensure product quality. The role involves both autonomous and team‑based work on rotating shifts, supporting 480‑V three‑phase systems and minimizing downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders and provide maintenance support for high‑speed manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair machinery, including gearboxes, bearings, PLCs, and variable‑speed drives.
• Interpret schematics and equipment manuals, and perform mechanical tasks such as motor, gearbox, valve, pump, and hydraulic maintenance.
• Use SAP to document corrective and preventive maintenance, issue parts, and record inspection data.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; 3 years of industrial mechanical/electrical experience (or two‑year technical degree).
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and in varying temperatures; must lift up to 50 lb and stand, bend, twist continuously.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to follow safety and 5S procedures.

Required skills

• PLC programming and troubleshooting (ControlLogix, PLC5, Siemens PCS7).
• Experience with drive installation and parameterization (Siemens MM4, Allen‑Bradley).
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Process controls, instrumentation, and calibration.
• Mechanical repair skills: bearing, chain, motor, gearbox, valve, pump maintenance.
