Industrial Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

About the role

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift, you will keep Nestlé’s high‑speed packaging lines operating safely and efficiently. You’ll troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with operators to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and control packaging line equipment, including pouch, can and bag lines, casers, depalletizers and palletizers.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and pneumatic equipment to minimize downtime.
• Create and document work orders using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on high‑speed packaging equipment.
• Support equipment changeovers, line relief and quality checks throughout the shift.
• Supply machine centers with packaging and raw materials, ensuring food‑safety compliance.
• Participate in continuous improvement, TPM and Lean activities to improve OEE.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Ability to complete 4‑6 weeks of on‑the‑job training and annual QA, Environmental and HR training.

Required skills

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting across pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices and CMMS documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while prioritizing tasks.
