Industrial Electrician

About the role

The Industrial Electrician will install, program, troubleshoot and maintain automated industrial control systems on a high‑speed production line. You will work with 480‑volt, 3‑phase equipment, PLC/HMI programs and a variety of sensors, drives and motors to keep machinery running at maximum uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair 480‑volt, 3‑phase electrical systems and high‑speed packaging machinery.
• Program, update and support Allen‑Bradley PLC5 and HMI controllers.
• Analyze plant‑wide electrical process data to guide maintenance and process‑improvement activities.
• Follow lock‑out/tag‑out, confined‑space and other safety procedures while completing work.
• Document maintenance and quality events using computer reporting systems.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma or GED and proven electrical experience in high‑speed manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience with variable‑frequency drives (VFD) and Allen‑Bradley PLC5 programming.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
