Immigrant Youth Program Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking an Immigrant Youth Program Coordinator (also called Success Coach) to manage comprehensive services for immigrant children and their families in Miami-Dade County. The role involves case management, coordination with partners, community outreach, and supervision of interns and volunteers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide wrap‑around case management, conduct needs assessments, and develop individualized service plans.
• Coordinate referrals, maintain relationships with legal service providers, and serve as the primary point of contact for each family.
• Lead a team of interns and volunteers through supervision, task delegation, and professional development.
• Represent the IRC at community meetings, cultivate partnerships, and promote program visibility.
• Maintain accurate case documentation, ensure data quality, and submit required reports on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, international affairs, or human services (graduate degree preferred).
• Minimum five years of direct service experience with immigrant youth or unaccompanied children; immigration legal services experience is a plus.
• Strong relationship‑building, diplomacy, and multicultural communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and personal insured vehicle for travel within the service area.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to use internet and digital tools for data entry, research, and problem‑solving.
