IBD Gastroenterologist – Physician

About the role

Join Ochsner Health’s Department of Gastroenterology in New Orleans as an IBD Gastroenterologist. You will work within an established, multidisciplinary IBD program delivering patient‑centered care, research, and education.

Key responsibilities

• Focus on inflammatory bowel disease within a high‑volume gastroenterology practice.
• Collaborate closely with colorectal surgery, GI pathology, and GI radiology teams.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives supported by a dedicated GI research infrastructure.
• Teach and mentor fellows and residents as part of Ochsner’s strong academic programs.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in managing IBD patients.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Experience with clinical research data management.
