HVAC/R Technician

About the role

Dubak Electrical Group is looking for an experienced HVAC/R Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair heavy commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems. The role involves sheet‑metal fabrication, control‑system work, and on‑site service using company vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Fabricate and install sheet metal and ductwork.
• Service HVAC & refrigeration control systems.
• Diagnose and service packaged rooftop units.
• Install and troubleshoot variable air volume (VAV) systems.
• Install water, compressed air, and refrigeration piping.
• Perform gas piping installation and fabrication.

Required profile

• NCCER HVAC/Refrigeration certification or equivalent degree.
• 5–7 years of journeyman‑level experience in HVAC and refrigeration.
• Ability to read blueprints, installation diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in brazing and soldering refrigeration piping.
• EPA Universal Certification and EPA training for multiple refrigerants.
• Clean driving record, OSHA 10‑hour certification, and ability to manage tool inventory.
