HVAC New Construction Manager

About the role

R.J. Kielty is seeking an experienced HVAC New Construction Manager to lead its residential new‑construction division at the Brandon location. This senior‑level position offers ownership of project execution, team performance, customer relationships and profitability within a family‑owned, 50‑year‑old Florida company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead residential HVAC new‑construction projects from pre‑construction through final completion.
• Develop and manage schedules, scopes, values, equipment buyouts and project budgets.
• Review plans, blueprints, specifications and coordinate with builders, contractors and vendors.
• Prepare takeoffs, submittals, shop drawings, coordination drawings and as‑built documentation.
• Monitor labor productivity, material requirements and overall profitability.
• Hire, train, develop and hold field personnel accountable for performance.
• Manage contracts, change orders, purchasing, inventory and project documentation.
• Oversee inspections, punch lists, final completion, invoicing and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• 10+ years of HVAC industry experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Extensive experience in residential HVAC new construction and strong knowledge of Florida mechanical codes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license.
