HR Generalist – People Operations

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented HR Generalist to join Stash’s People team. In this role you will support day‑to‑day HR operations and help deliver an exceptional employee experience across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage HR operations and employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, off‑boarding and employee data management.
• Coordinate seamless onboarding experiences for new hires and maintain HR systems (e.g., ADP, Greenhouse) to ensure data accuracy.
• Support People programs such as performance cycles, engagement surveys, compliance activities and internal communications.
• Plan and execute employee events, learning sessions and culture‑building initiatives.
• Prepare HR documentation, reports and presentations as needed.
• Respond to employee inquiries about policies, benefits and processes, escalating when appropriate.
• Identify workflow improvement opportunities and help automate People processes.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT, Workplace and Legal to ensure a smooth employee experience.
• Assist with recruiting tasks including sourcing, interview scheduling and candidate communications.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and initiatives across the People team.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, People Operations or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with HRIS platforms, preferably ADP and Greenhouse.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional handling of sensitive and confidential information.
• Collaborative, customer‑service mindset and passion for improving employee experience.
