Housekeeper/Room Attendant – PM (Evenings)

About the role

The Housekeeper/Room Attendant works evenings (PM) at the historic Hyatt Regency Cleveland, ensuring guest rooms are clean, tidy, and ready for occupancy. This position supports the hotel’s reputation for attentive service and memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to Hyatt standards.
• Replenish linens, amenities, and supplies for each room.
• Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the front‑desk team.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and inventory.
• Ensure timely room turnover for incoming guests.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar cleaning role.
• Ability to work evening shifts consistently.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
