Housekeeper – Roost Rainey

About the role

The Housekeeper ensures that guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and communal areas at Roost Rainey meet the brand’s high standards of cleanliness, organization and presentation. Working on‑site in Austin’s vibrant Rainey Street District, you will help create a welcoming and comfortable environment for short‑stay and extended‑visit guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and refresh guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living areas to brand standards.
• Change linens, make beds, restock amenities and maintain in‑room supplies.
• Clean and maintain public areas, hallways and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or missing items promptly.
• Follow all safety, sanitation and cleaning protocols.
• Support laundry operations as needed.
• Uphold a warm, professional, guest‑focused demeanor at all times.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
