Household Manager/Family Assistant

About the role

We are a busy, driven couple seeking a proactive Household Manager/Family Assistant to keep our home organized, support daily tasks, and create a peaceful environment where we can relax and recharge.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all family laundry, including washing, folding, ironing, special garment care, and weekly rotation of bedding and towels.
• Maintain household organization by resetting dishes, surfaces, vacuuming high‑traffic areas, and preparing the home for the weekly cleaner.
• Handle seasonal clothing swaps, décor setup, and packing/unpacking support for travel.
• Coordinate inventory, returns, dry‑cleaning drop‑off/pick‑up, mail handling, and maintain a running household supply list.
• Assist with Facebook Marketplace listings and occasional grocery runs to restock the pantry and fridge.
• Prepare healthy grab‑and‑go breakfasts 1–2 times per week following gluten‑free and dairy‑free guidelines.
• Care for two cats, including litter box cleaning, vet and grooming appointments, and pop‑in pet care during travel.
• Support family logistics by monitoring calendars, anticipating travel needs, and serving as on‑site contact for contractors.
