Household Manager & Personal Assistant

About the role

We are a busy family of four in Philadelphia seeking a part‑time Household Manager & Personal Assistant to keep our home running smoothly. The role involves anticipating needs, managing daily tasks and overseeing larger projects, with 15–25 hours per week on flexible weekdays.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain organization systems, daily resets, and seasonal home preparations.
• Prepare the home for cleaners, coordinate linen, and manage donation drop‑offs.
• Oversee vendors and contractors, schedule services, handle payments and research repair quotes.
• Lead deep‑cleaning projects, closet and garage organization, and special home improvement tasks.
• Restock pantry and household supplies, manage subscriptions and online orders.
• Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and kitchen cleanup.
• Handle laundry, linen rotation, and vehicle maintenance scheduling.
• Maintain household calendar, support travel planning, bill tracking and event coordination.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a house manager, executive or personal assistant in a private household.
• Highly organized, proactive, trustworthy and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors, contractors and service providers.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to obtain required vaccinations.
• Authorized to work in the United States and willing to sign an NDA and undergo a background check.
