House Manager with Meal Prep Focus

About the role

We are seeking a proactive House Manager to join our busy family in Marietta, GA. The role combines household organization, vendor coordination, and a strong focus on meal planning and preparation for a family of four and two large dogs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare four family dinners per week, develop a rotating menu, shop for groceries, and handle ingredient prep and batch cooking.
• Maintain daily household order: dishes, surface cleaning, light tidying, vacuuming high‑traffic areas, and oversee bi‑weekly housekeeping.
• Coordinate all home vendors and contractors, obtain quotes, schedule work, and manage a yearly maintenance calendar for HVAC, pool, security, and outdoor spaces.
• Handle inventory, run errands, manage subscriptions, and oversee laundry for children and one parent, including ironing and linen rotation.
• Support family logistics: schedule appointments, manage the shared family calendar, assist with school pickups, and provide occasional date‑night coverage.
• Care for two large dogs, restock pet food, and provide pet‑sitting during family travel.
• Manage vehicle maintenance scheduling and ensure reliable transportation for work duties.

• Passionate about food, wellness and experienced in meal planning, grocery shopping and healthy cooking.

• Strong coordinator comfortable managing vendors, appointments and household projects.
• Professional, personable, warm with children and pets, and respects family privacy.
• Adaptable, resource‑ful and able to handle shifting priorities and new projects.
• Trustworthy, discreet and an excellent communicator who provides proactive updates.
• Authorized to work in the United States, holds a valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid certification, and up‑to‑date vaccinations.
