House Manager & Pet Sitter (Part‑time)

About the role

We are a lively family of four seeking a warm, organized individual to keep our home running smoothly and to care for our beloved pets when we are away. This part‑time position blends household management, pet care, and occasional travel support, offering flexible hours Monday‑Thursday.

Key responsibilities

• Daily walks, feeding, and supply management for the family dog and cat; live‑in pet/house sitting one week per month, including holidays.
• Create and maintain household organization systems, reset the home for cleaners, and perform light tidying such as dishes, surfaces, and vacuuming high‑traffic areas.
• Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies; manage orders and subscriptions from retailers like Amazon, Costco, and Target.
• Plan weekly family meals, perform light prep work, clean the kitchen, and conduct a weekly fridge purge.
• Support family calendar coordination, light travel planning, receipt and budget tracking, and occasional event logistics.
• Fold and organize parents’ laundry, and handle seasonal vehicle maintenance and occasional fueling.
• Seasonally refresh garage, mudroom, and entry areas; clean humidifiers and air purifiers as needed.

• Adaptable, flexible, and easy‑going, able to manage a dynamic schedule and shifting priorities.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of creating simple systems that keep a home running smoothly.
• Clear communicator, especially via text, comfortable coordinating with assistants, vendors, and guests.
• Reliable transportation and ability to maintain a smoke‑free environment.
