House Manager & Meal Prep Support

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, proactive individual to join our busy family as a House Manager and Meal Prep Support. Working four days a week, you will keep our home organized, maintain a smoke‑free environment, and ensure dinner ingredients are ready to cook, allowing the family to focus on quality time together.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain household organization systems, handle daily resets, and prepare the home for cleaners.
• Perform light tidying, including dishes, surfaces, vacuuming high‑traffic areas, and toy rotation.
• Prepare and label ingredients for four ready‑to‑cook dinners each week, including chopping, washing, and portioning.
• Wash, fold, and organize family laundry; manage linen rotation and ironing as needed.
• Conduct occasional deep cleans (fridge, oven, baseboards) and refresh entryways and mudrooms.
• Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies; handle grocery pickups, inventory labeling, and vendor coordination.

Required profile

• Kind, proactive, and reliable with a hands‑on attitude.
• Comfortable around children and able to respect a fragrance‑free, smoke‑free home.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to anticipate household needs.
• Strong communication, privacy respect, and ability to follow dietary preferences (vegetarian).
• Reliable transportation with mileage reimbursement provided.
