House Manager & Family Assistant – Part‑time, Houston

About the role

We are a busy professional family of four in Houston seeking a warm, organized and proactive House Manager & Family Assistant to keep our home running smoothly. The role is part‑time (15–20 hours per week) and includes meal preparation, pet care, childcare support and general household organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain organization of closets, pantry, storage areas and toys; tidy rooms daily.
• Manage household calendars, coordinate apps (GameChanger, TeamSnap, Skylight) and update family schedules.
• Run errands such as grocery shopping, returns, dry‑cleaning, and coordinate online orders (Amazon, Costco, Target).
• Prepare simple meals 3‑4 times a week and batch‑cook for easy reheating.
• Handle laundry, bedding, uniforms and seasonal clothing swaps.
• Feed, walk and occasionally pet‑sit the two labradoodles; track pet supplies.
• Assist with school pickups, extracurricular activities and occasional light childcare.
• Support administrative tasks like scheduling doctor/dentist appointments and party preparation.
• Oversee vendors and service providers, coordinate donations and seasonal home‑setting.
