House Manager & Canine Care Coordinator

About the role

We are a busy professional family seeking a proactive, part‑time House Manager who will also coordinate care for our four special‑needs rescue dogs. The role blends household organization, pet logistics, and light administrative support to keep the home running smoothly when the principals are away.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate veterinary appointments, medication logistics, and transportation for dogs, including weekly chemotherapy trips.
• Prepare 3‑4 Mediterranean‑style meals per week, manage grocery shopping, and maintain a clean kitchen.
• Oversee household vendors, contractors, and service providers; be on‑site during repairs and ensure dogs are safely managed.
• Lead multi‑room organization projects, implement systems, and act as point‑of‑contact for the home decorator.
• Handle inventory, errands, mail, package sorting, and occasional deep‑cleaning tasks.
• Support personal administration such as doctor appointments, passport scheduling, and vehicle maintenance.

Required profile

• Genuine love for large, special‑needs rescue dogs and comfort working independently in the home.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to think several steps ahead without a task list.
• Reliable personal transportation (mileage reimbursed) and ability to sign an NDA.
• Authorized to work in the United States and willing to undergo a background check.
• Discreet, trustworthy, and able to collaborate smoothly with an existing household assistant.
