About the role

Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking board‑certified or board‑eligible Hematology Oncology physicians to join its multidisciplinary team in New Orleans. The position offers a blend of inpatient and outpatient clinical duties, opportunities for research, and involvement in teaching fellows and residents.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Develop and participate in clinical research studies and trials.
• Teach and mentor fellows and residents within the Hematology Oncology fellowship program.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the oncology program.

Required profile

• Board certification or eligibility in hematology and oncology.
• Commitment to academic medicine, research, and education.
• Flexibility to work a 4‑day week or other flexible schedule options.
• Willingness to collaborate within an integrated, multi‑specialty health‑care delivery model.
