About the role
Kemp Quarries is seeking a safety‑sensitive Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently run mobile aggregate mining and processing equipment at its Greenwood, AR site.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor mobile aggregate mining equipment in accordance with safety, environmental, MSHA and company policies.
- Perform pre‑shift inspections, preventive maintenance, and clean or repair equipment as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping of plant, equipment, and work site.
- Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Attend worksite reliably and work flexible shifts, including swing, graveyard, overtime and weekends.
Required profile
- Mid‑level experience operating equipment used at the facility.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Good safety, attendance and behavior record.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform heavy labor.
Required skills
- Operation of mobile aggregate mining and processing equipment.
- Preventive maintenance and equipment inspection.
