Healthcare Receptionist – Remote (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a customer‑focused Healthcare Receptionist to join our Physical Therapy Clinic. Working remotely, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, handling calls, scheduling, and administrative tasks while supporting the clinic’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls professionally, providing courteous service and information.
• Enter patient data accurately into the WebPT electronic medical record system.
• Schedule, confirm, and remind patients of appointments.
• Manage high‑volume call traffic, including inquiries, cancellations, and referrals.
• Maintain and update patient charts while ensuring confidentiality.
• Escalate complex or urgent issues to supervisors as needed.
• Stay informed about clinic services, policies, and procedures to address patient questions effectively.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare administration education is a plus.
• Previous experience in a medical front‑office or similar customer‑service role.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time well, and handle a high call volume.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with WebPT or comparable EMR software.
