About the role
Swiftwick, a US‑made performance sock brand for endurance athletes, is seeking a Head of Sales to drive the next phase of wholesale growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape strategy, build relationships, and lead both internal and external sales teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a wholesale growth strategy focused on run specialty, outdoor, and adjacent categories.
- Lead, coach, and expand the internal wholesale team and manage independent sales representatives, agencies, and distributors.
- Strengthen relationships with retailers, buyers, sales agencies, industry partners, and athletes.
- Identify and open new regional and national accounts while increasing assortment and productivity in existing accounts.
- Implement robust forecasting, pipeline management, reporting, and accountability systems.
- Collaborate with marketing to enhance brand presence at trade shows, race expos, and grassroots events.
- Provide product feedback and market insights to inform product development.
- Travel regularly for account visits, events, and industry gatherings.
Required profile
- 10+ years of proven success growing premium or specialty wholesale businesses.
- Deep knowledge of run specialty and outdoor retail landscapes with established relationships.
- Experience managing both internal sales teams and independent sales agencies or distributors.
- Entrepreneurial, high‑accountability mindset focused on building results.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
