About the role
Veritas Christian Academy seeks a dedicated Head Golf Coach for the boys’ team. The coach will lead a Christ‑centered program that blends athletic excellence with spiritual growth.
Key responsibilities
- Integrate biblical principles into team culture and lead regular prayers for student‑athletes.
- Prioritize character, sportsmanship, citizenship, and academic responsibility over simply winning competitions.
- Plan, schedule, and supervise all practices while maintaining a safe, structured environment.
- Emphasize player safety, document injuries, and promptly report serious incidents to the Athletic Director, trainer, and school nurse.
- Maintain consistent and effective communication with players, parents, and school administration.
Required profile
- Commitment to Christ‑centered coaching and the spiritual development of student‑athletes.
- Ability to foster character, sportsmanship, and academic responsibility.
- Strong organizational skills for planning practices and ensuring safety protocols.
- Effective communication skills with students, parents, and staff.
