Hardscape Foreman – Full‑Time, Year‑Round

About the role

DeHamer Landscaping seeks an experienced Hardscape Foreman to lead crews on landscape and hardscape construction projects year‑round, ensuring safety, quality, and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a crew of 2–5+ team members, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Plan and coordinate daily job‑site activities, read construction drawings, and oversee grading, drainage, and hardscape installations.
• Operate and train crew on equipment such as skid steers, mini‑excavators, and plate compactors.
• Communicate progress and issues to management and enforce safety policies.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in landscape or hardscape construction with proven crew leadership.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, grades, and elevations.
• Valid clean driver’s license (CDL Class A preferred) and ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Physical ability to lift 60+ lbs and perform extended physical labor.

Required skills

• Knowledge of paver systems, retaining walls, base construction, and grading.
• Operation of landscape construction equipment (skid steer, mini‑excavator, plate compactor, etc.).
