Gym Assistant (Work‑Study) – Chatt Tech Students

About the role

Join the Office of Student Involvement at the Marietta Campus as a Gym Assistant, supporting Chattahoochee Technical College students, faculty, and staff. This work‑study position provides hands‑on experience in facility management while you continue your studies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the Exercise Room, ensuring only authorized users access the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of equipment and the workout area on a daily basis.
• Assist with the daily check‑in process for Chatt Tech students, faculty, and staff.
• Identify and report equipment repairs or maintenance needs.
• Provide courteous customer service and support wellness programming initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Current enrollment at Chattahoochee Technical College with work‑study eligibility.
• Completed FAFSA and demonstrated financial need.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or eligible non‑citizen status.
• Good academic standing and satisfactory progress.
• Pass a mandatory background check.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $12.00.
• Maximum of 19 work hours per week.
• No additional benefits.
