Guest Services Representative (Part-Time)

About the role

Guest Services Representatives deliver best-in-class service to all internal and external guests of T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, addressing questions, needs and resolving concerns in an energetic, professional and welcoming way. This is a part-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, check tickets, provide information, answer questions, give directions and escort guests when needed
• Assist and accommodate guests with special needs
• Respond to guest questions or complaints promptly and professionally
• Help Guest Services management retrieve lost and found property
• Follow venue policies and procedures and attend annual training on medical aids, emergency procedures, safety and customer service
• Take part in the emergency evacuation team, communicating with and directing guests during emergencies
• Perform other duties as directed by management

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of customer service-related work experience
• Positive, customer service-oriented attitude
• Able to speak, understand and follow directions in English
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

Required skills

• Ability to handle large or high-profile events in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stay calm with angry or emotional guests
• Ability to move around the facility and stand for long periods
• Ability to push a wheelchair, requiring the ability to lift up to 300 lbs on wheels
• Preferred: previous experience in a sports, entertainment or convention facility
