Guest Services Ambassador

About the role

The Guest Services Ambassador supports daily operations of the Guest Services department at Homewood Mountain & Lake Club, delivering memorable experiences for guests on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. As the primary point of contact, you will welcome visitors, provide accurate information, and connect them with the resort’s products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service by warmly greeting guests, providing accurate resort information, and connecting them with appropriate products, services, and locations.
• Assist with guest flow, reservations, and wayfinding to ensure efficient arrival and resort‑access experience.
• Maintain current knowledge of resort offerings such as lift tickets, ski school, rentals, season passes, terrain and snow conditions.
• Educate guests on products and services and help them select options that meet their needs.
• Listen to guest questions, concerns, and complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Support departmental sales and marketing initiatives by communicating promotions and products.
• Ensure the Guest Services office follows its operating plan and perform snow removal as required.

Required profile

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to convey information accurately.
• Previous hospitality or ski‑resort experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and lift/carry items up to 50 lb.
