Growth Marketing Manager

About the role

Earnest is looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to own lifecycle strategy and drive loan volume, retention, and cross‑sell across the customer journey. Reporting to the VP of Performance Marketing, you will combine data‑driven targeting, creative experimentation, and cross‑product initiatives to boost lifetime value.

Key responsibilities

• Set the roadmap and execute hands‑on campaigns that impact loan volume, LTV, retention, and cross‑sell.
• Develop audience segmentation using behavioral and real‑time data, collaborating with Creative to test hypotheses.
• Design, size, and analyze rigorous A/B and multivariate tests to continuously optimize performance.
• Build and scale programs that move customers across product lines (e.g., student loan refinancing to personal loans).
• Partner with Data Science, Product, Creative, and Legal to create measurement models and ensure compliant, fast delivery.

Required profile

• 6+ years of marketing experience with a strong analytical mindset.
• Degree or equivalent experience in economics, engineering, statistics, math, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven track record in test‑and‑learn environments, handling hypotheses, sample sizes, and rapid optimization.
• Ability to form evidence‑backed perspectives and influence senior stakeholders.
• Highly proactive, hands‑on executor who takes extreme ownership of projects.

Required skills

• SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience with lifecycle marketing platforms (Braze is a major plus).
• Design and analysis of A/B and multivariate tests.
