About the role
Rune is redefining military logistics through rapid growth and innovation. As Growth Director focused on the U.S. Marine Corps, you will lead capture efforts, shape new business opportunities, and drive top‑line growth for the TyrOS platform.
Key responsibilities
- Report to the Marine Corps Director of Growth and collaborate with the Head of Growth to execute capture opportunities.
- Identify, pursue, and capture new business opportunities within the U.S. Marine Corps and through strategic partnerships.
- Work with cross‑functional teams (engineering, product, mission success) and executive leadership to align business goals.
- Represent Rune at industry events, trade shows, and government meetings to showcase TyrOS capabilities.
- Develop relationships with key decision‑makers across military logistics and sustainment.
- Oversee a business development pipeline from lead generation to contract award.
- Lead proposal development, including RFP responses, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the defense technology sector.
- Strong ownership mindset and bias to action.
- Sound understanding of the U.S. Marine Corps, contract structures, and solicitation processes.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to government and military stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel 25‑50% for customer engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree required and an active U.S. secret security clearance.
