Groundskeeper – Savannah Oaks Community

About the role

Ensures the physical aspects of the community are maintained, meeting standards for grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal while supporting service team members.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings and keep common areas and amenities neat.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments, transfer it to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage areas.
• Complete minor and routine service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during the turn process.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices, report hazards, and respond to resident questions and complaints with courteous service.
• Follow Greystar safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance) while working in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays and to be on call as needed.
