Groundskeeper – Residential Community

About the role

We are seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the physical appearance and functionality of our residential community, The Westheimer. The role involves daily inspections, litter removal, lock maintenance, and support for the service team to ensure a safe and attractive environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas and amenities throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet droppings.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments, transport it to dumpsters or storage, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turn‑over.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify pool gate operation meets safety codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints.
• Follow Greystar safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety procedures and reporting of incidents.
