Groundskeeper / Porter for Multi‑Site Residential Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the appearance and safety of two residential properties – Ayrsley Lofts and Broadstone Ayrsley – in Charlotte, NC. The role supports the service team and ensures that common areas, amenities, and grounds meet Greystar’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect both communities throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet waste, and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant units before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with unit turn‑over tasks.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required OSHA and safety training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and operational procedures.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents and team members.
