Groundskeeper for Ascend at McKinney North Community

About the role

Ensures the physical aspects of the community are maintained and standards are met regarding the grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal. Provides support to the service team members and assists with make‑ready processes.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings and keep common areas and amenities neat.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist.
• Change locks according to property policy and ensure pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices, report hazards, and respond to resident questions and complaints with respectful customer service.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training and report incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays, and to take on‑call duties.
