Groundskeeper at The Met

About the role

Ensures the physical aspects of the community are maintained, keeping the grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal in excellent condition. Provides support to service team members and assists with make‑ready processes.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings and keep common areas neat.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments, transfer it to dumpsters, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist in turnover processes.
• Change locks according to policy and ensure pool gates operate safely.
• Distribute resident notices and communicate important information.
• Report hazards, respond to resident questions, and handle maintenance complaints with professionalism.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions and on a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to safety by attending OSHA training, safety meetings and reporting incidents promptly.
