Ground Test Inspector – Avionics (Contract)

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Ground Test Inspector (Avionics) on a contract basis to support the Final Assembly Line at its Mobile, AL manufacturing facility. You will ensure that aircraft avionics and system tests are performed safely, accurately, and in line with design specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft and workstation environments for avionics and system testing.
• Execute functional and performance tests on all avionics systems using the Airbus Test System.
• Identify, isolate, document, and resolve test deviations to maintain safety and performance standards.
• Validate test results against design specifications and report findings.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address technical issues.

Required profile

• Experience in avionics or aircraft systems testing, preferably on a final assembly line.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow strict procedural guidelines.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot test anomalies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Airbus Test System.
• Knowledge of aircraft avionics and electrical system testing.
• Ability to perform functional tests on multiple aircraft systems.
