About the role
The United Nations Office of Legal Affairs seeks an individual contractor to develop an Adobe InDesign template and format five project documents for electronic distribution. This part‑time, remote assignment runs for four months, from 19 October 2026 to 18 February 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Create a common InDesign template for all project reports.
- Design and format five reports (four needs‑assessment reports and one case‑studies publication) using the template.
- Source original and stock images, ensuring all outputs are copyright‑free.
- Deliver low‑ and high‑resolution PDF versions and editable InDesign files for each report.
- Meet phased delivery milestones (template and first report by week 3, subsequent reports by month 2.5 and month 4).
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of graphic‑design experience (or 5 years with an advanced degree) and a strong portfolio of reports/publications.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
Required skills
- Adobe InDesign proficiency.
