Graphic Designer / Compositor

About the role

GW, a premier publishing services provider, is looking for a detail‑oriented page designer with strong InDesign expertise to join the team as a Compositor/Graphic Designer. This hybrid position is based in St. Louis, MO, with some in‑office time required.

Key responsibilities

• Design and compose layouts for educational and scientific publications, including medical, scientific, trade books, magazines, and digital ePub deliverables.
• Revise illustrations, ensure accessibility compliance, and produce various output formats such as HTML/XML and ePub3.

Required profile

• Exceptional proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.

Required skills

• Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Scripting for task automation.
• ePub3 creation and knowledge of accessibility standards.
• Basic HTML or XML knowledge.
