Graduate Registered Nurse – Entry Level

About the role

Agrace, a nationally recognized nonprofit hospice and palliative care organization, is seeking new graduate Registered Nurses to join its team across multiple locations in Wisconsin. This position offers flexible full‑time or part‑time schedules and a supportive orientation program designed for nurses who have not yet taken the NCLEX‑RN.

Key responsibilities

• Perform continuous assessments of patients’ physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs under RN supervision.
• Document assessment data and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to develop individualized care plans.
• Identify and report signs of abuse, neglect, suicidal ideation, or violence.
• Manage pain and symptom control, including medication administration and non‑pharmacologic therapies.
• Educate patients and families on symptom management and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
• Delegate and supervise nursing care assignments to LPNs/CNAs as needed.
• Respond to changes in patient condition that may require acute inpatient admission.

Required profile

• New graduate RN with less than one year of experience.
• Has not yet taken the NCLEX‑RN.
• Willingness to work under direct RN supervision and participate in a structured orientation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with the IDT.
