About the role

The Graduate Enrollment Specialist/Advisor supports the mission of the Graduate School by providing comprehensive enrollment, retention, and advising services to graduate students. Working on the Commerce, Texas campus, this role ensures students receive accurate information and resources to meet their academic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting, retention, and advising activities in alignment with the Graduate School’s strategic plans.
• Provide detailed information on programs, admissions requirements, and university resources.
• Assist prospective and current graduate students in navigating enrollment processes and resolving academic issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student enrollment.
• Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to enhance student services.

Required profile

• Under direction, manage enrollment activities and serve as a primary point of contact for graduate students.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
