Graduate Certification Engineer I – Airbus Graduate Programme

About the role

Airbus is looking for recent engineering graduates to join a two‑year Global Graduate development journey starting in June 2027. You will be trained to become a Certification Engineer I, supporting aircraft type certification and continued airworthiness, and will progress to Certification Engineer II by the end of the programme.

Key responsibilities

• Support creation and review of certification documentation for Type Certification, changes, and continued airworthiness.
• Develop and manage Certification Plans and identify applicable aircraft regulations impacted by changes and repairs.
• Learn Airbus processes, methods and tools related to airworthiness certification of new deliveries and in‑service modifications.
• Collaborate with design office specialists, repair specialists and certification team members to gather required data.
• Complete at least one rotational placement, potentially overseas or at Airbus Americas engineering sites, to broaden technical exposure.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Aerospace, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) with strong emphasis on structural design, analysis or mechanics of materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a desire to drive innovation.
• Self‑awareness and proactive approach to personal development.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Google Suite.
• Familiarity with Airbus proprietary certification tools.
