About the role
The Graduate Assistant will support student‑facing initiatives within the Career Services department, focusing on advising, outreach, event planning, and marketing to enhance student engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with student check‑in and basic data entry.
- Review resumes and support career readiness programming.
- Maintain and update Blackboard career modules.
- Support career fairs, workshops, and tabling events.
- Help create promotional materials and social‑media content for outreach initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
- Professionalism, strong attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality of student records.
- Understanding of FERPA guidelines and university policies.
Required skills
- Blackboard (career module management).
