Government Investigations & White Collar Associate

About the role

We are seeking an associate to join our Government Investigations & White‑Collar Defense practice in Boston, MA or Washington, DC. The role involves counseling, investigating, defending and litigating a wide range of government inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide counsel and representation in civil investigative demands, subpoenas, and other requests from federal or state prosecutors.
• Manage matters from investigation and grand‑jury stages through trial, appeal and collateral proceedings.
• Litigate and defend government enforcement actions, including complex civil fraud cases.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in government investigations, preferably in life‑sciences matters.
• Strong writing and analytical abilities with demonstrated written advocacy in government enforcement litigation.
• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar or the District of Columbia Bar.
• Excellent academic credentials and a commitment to high‑quality client service.

Required skills

What we offer

• Annual base salary range $225,000 – $275,000.
