GME Accreditation Coordinator

About the role

The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Accreditation Coordinator supports the accreditation efforts of the UAMS College of Medicine GME office. As a member of the GME Office leadership team, the coordinator works closely with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and ensures institutional and program‑specific requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Support GME accreditation activities and maintain alignment with ACGME and institutional policies.
• Utilize the ACGME Accreditation Data System to review data, generate reports, and assist with annual reporting requirements.
• Coordinate Graduate Medical Education Committee meetings, including scheduling, invitations, minutes, and follow‑up.
• Assist with internal program reviews, site visits, annual program evaluations, and ACGME updates.
• Track compliance for evaluations, surveys, moonlighting, milestones, and other accreditation criteria.
• Manage accreditation forms and workflows using SharePoint, New Innovations, and other institutional tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in health, business, or related field, or high school diploma/GED with four years of project coordination or administrative support experience.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
