Global Product Planning Manager

About the role

Planner IV is a senior‑level contributor leading complex planning activities across product life cycles and scaling product performance through systems, data and cross‑functional influence. The role requires advanced analytical abilities, critical thinking, effective communication and proven leadership to address product planning complexities and achieve successful results.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑End Parts Planning: oversee demand forecasting, inventory management, ramp and transition planning for designated products throughout the lifecycle.
• Strategic Planning and Development: design and implement planning methodologies, improve workflows, tools, data models and visualizations.
• Collaboration and Communication: partner with Operations, Service Business Units, Business Units and Engineering to synchronize planning activities and influence outcomes.
• Risk Management & Decision Support: identify supply, demand and cost risks, analyze trade‑offs and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Project Management: lead funded projects to completion on schedule and within budget while guiding team members.
• Performance Tracking and Improvement: monitor product performance, analyse data and implement corrective actions to boost efficiency.
• Leadership and Development: mentor junior planners and promote a continuous‑improvement culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations or Business; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, including at least 6 years in inventory, supply or demand planning within the semiconductor industry.
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a track record of data‑driven solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams without formal authority.
• Extensive knowledge of ERP and supply‑chain planning systems such as SAP, SPP or Oracle.
