About the role
PwC is seeking a GIS Technical Architect – Manager to lead the design and delivery of geographic information system solutions for clients across urban planning, environmental management and transportation. The role combines technical expertise in Esri’s software suite with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team to translate business needs into integrated GIS applications.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of GIS architecture using Esri mapping software such as ArcGIS.
- Analyse client requirements and propose solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Manage project planning, budgeting, execution and delivery to meet client objectives.
- Coach, mentor and evaluate team members to ensure high‑quality outcomes.
- Develop and deploy GIS applications for urban planning, environmental and transportation projects.
- Identify system interactions and integration opportunities through analytical thinking.
- Facilitate difficult conversations with stakeholders and uphold professional standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in GIS architecture and consulting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to PwC’s code of conduct and independence requirements.
Required skills
- Esri Mapping Software (ArcGIS).
