General Manager – Spares Operations

About the role

We are seeking a General Manager to lead KONE Americas’ spare parts strategy, operations and growth initiatives. The role oversees budgeting, cost management, customer support and expands parts sales across all elevator and escalator OEMs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead spare parts strategy, operations and profitable sales growth.
• Manage budgeting, cost control and customer support functions.
• Expand parts sales across elevator and escalator OEMs.
• Develop, monitor and improve key performance indicators to meet operational, financial and service goals.
• Analyze market opportunities and support sales growth initiatives.
• Contribute to marketing and business development strategies.

Required profile

• Strong leadership, communication, coaching and employee development skills, including succession planning and team engagement.
• Knowledge of service operations, material sales, purchasing, distribution, inventory lifecycle and obsolescence management.
• Understanding of financial management principles, business performance metrics and the vertical transportation industry.
