General Manager – Large Full-Service Hotel in Pittsburgh

About the role

A prominent 700‑room full‑service hotel in the Pittsburgh market is seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead all aspects of hotel operations, drive financial performance, and elevate the guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across all departments, fostering a collaborative, service‑focused culture.
• Oversee rooms, food & beverage, banquet, convention, engineering, security and administrative functions, ensuring brand standards and operational excellence.
• Assume full responsibility for revenue, profitability, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Partner with sales, revenue management and marketing to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and ancillary revenue.
• Champion guest satisfaction, monitor feedback, and ensure compliance with brand and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years progressive hotel leadership experience, with at least 5 years as General Manager or senior executive in a large full‑service property.
• Proven track record of improving financial results, guest satisfaction and associate engagement.
• Strong financial acumen, budgeting and profit‑improvement experience.
• Experience with large properties (500+ rooms) and complex group, convention and F&B operations.
• Executive presence, excellent communication skills and ability to lead through change.
