General Manager – Catering Operations

About the role

The General Manager – Catering Operations leads daily food‑service, catering, delivery and meal‑program activities for The Charmed Table. This position ensures safe, profitable, and consistent service while translating leadership direction into actionable results.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily coordination of staffing, production, delivery, inventory and systems to meet customer orders.
• Manage the full lifecycle of catering events, from order review and menu planning to packaging, delivery, on‑site execution and post‑event analysis.
• Control costs, reduce waste, track receipts, maintain accurate inventory and drive overall operational profitability.
• Ensure compliance with food‑safety standards (HACCP, temperature control, sanitation) and maintain audit readiness.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing catering or food‑service operations in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong ability to supervise staff, schedule shifts, and hold teams accountable for productivity and quality.
• Demonstrated skill in analyzing performance data and implementing corrective actions.

Required skills

• HACCP food‑safety certification or equivalent knowledge.
• Recipe costing and menu pricing expertise.
• Inventory tracking and production planning systems.
• Performance reporting and data‑driven decision making.
