General Manager – AI Legal Tech Startup

About the role

Zlayt AI is an early‑stage litigation automation platform for personal injury law. We are looking for a General Manager to build and run the commercial engine from scratch, shaping go‑to‑market strategy, sales, marketing, and customer success.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch the go‑to‑market strategy, sales process, marketing plan, and customer‑success framework.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and founders to translate platform capabilities into repeatable growth motions.
• Recruit, structure, and lead the commercial team as it scales.
• Own end‑to‑end outcomes, from strategy formulation to execution, with direct accountability to the founders.
• Make decisions in an ambiguous, early‑stage environment and iterate quickly.

Required profile

• Proven experience building 0‑to‑1 products or major features in a startup setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives across multiple departments.
• Hands‑on, self‑directed track record with 6–12 years of professional experience.
• Stable career progression with logical job changes (promotions, acquisitions, etc.).
